the brain behind the words
Hi! I’m Gloria!
I’m a strategist at heart and a writer by instinct—shaping ideas into copy that connects, with intention behind every word.

Meet Gloria Lepko
Writer, strategist, lyricist, Marine-turned-mom.
Creative brain. Curious heart. Chronic over-hummer.
These days, I’m a stay-at-home mom to a tiny tornado of a toddler, and a full-time grad student earning my Master’s in Communication. Before this wild, beautiful chapter, I spent seven years as a communication strategist in the U.S. Marine Corps — writing, leading, planning, adapting. A lot of adapting.
Now? I help brands say things that matter.
Not just louder — clearer. Braver. Smarter. With a pulse.
What it’s like to work with me
People say I bring the energy. The creativity. The calm-under-pressure energy of someone who’s had to brief a colonel while standing on one leg, metaphorically speaking.
I care a lot. I’ll push ideas forward, not just push pixels around.
And I’ll stick with something until it’s right — not just “done.”
If that sounds like someone you’d want in your corner, I’d love to meet you.

My approach
I start by asking good questions, listening carefully, and zooming in on what matters most to the audience. From there, I explore ideas, shape the message, and refine until every word earns its place. Clarity and connection are always the goal—and personality is never optional.
How I work
I don’t believe in guessing.
I believe in asking good questions, listening closely, and building the message from your truth, not someone else’s template.
My favorite projects?
- Brand messaging + voice (especially for brave, thoughtful brands who want to show up with clarity and edge)
- Short-form scriptwriting (ads, promos, launches — anything with rhythm and punch)
- Lyrical work (music, poetry, creative concepts — I’ll always have a soft spot for the melodic)
My process is part strategy, part intuition, part caffeine.
And no matter what I’m working on, the goal stays the same:
Say the right thing, the right way, to the right people.
Expertise
Right now, my toolbox includes: Message strategy, Brand voice + tone development, Ad + campaign concepting, Website + UX copy, Blog + long-form writing. I’m building real-world experience, but I’ve already built a strong foundation through coursework, independent projects, and lots of creative exploration.
My story
I’ve always loved stories—the way they make people feel, think, and act. My journey into copywriting came from a mix of academic curiosity, creative energy, and the desire to use words for real impact. I’ve worn a few hats in life (including military boots!), and this is the one that fits best.
But let’s rewind.
I wrote my first song when I was seven.
(Not to brag, but it had verses and a bridge.)
I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since — the moment when words stop being words and start becoming something you feel.
I studied cinema and TV production because I loved storytelling. I joined the military because I believed in communication with purpose. I left because I knew I was ready to use all that experience to do something even more creative.
Now I live somewhere between the strategy and the soul — helping brands shape their voice, write with intention, and tell their story in a way that feels undeniably them
Professional philosophy
Write like you respect the reader. Lead with clarity, follow up with feeling. Every brand has a voice—it just takes the right words to bring it to life. I believe good copy is honest, intentional, and never louder than it needs to be.
